Hi readers, welcome back to another entry of the training diaries blog. The topic of today will be about chasing if you’re chasing your dream or someone else’s. Have you ever shared a dream with someone, only to find out that they just don't seem to get it? Perhaps you've had a dream that was so vivid and meaningful to you, but when you tried to explain it to someone else, it just fell flat. Dreams are deeply personal experiences that can reveal a lot about our innermost thoughts, desires, and fears. They are unique to each individual, and even the most skilled storyteller may struggle to convey the full richness of their dream to another person. When you share a dream with someone, it's important to remember that they are hearing it through the filter of their own experiences and perspectives. This can mean that they interpret the dream in a way that is vastly different from what you intended. It's also worth noting that dreams can be highly symbolic and full of subconscious meaning. A particular object or person in your dream might have a deeply personal significance to you, but to someone else, it may seem completely random or insignificant.

Of course, this doesn't mean that you should stop sharing your dreams with others altogether. Sometimes, talking about your dreams with a trusted friend or loved one can help you gain new insights and perspectives. It can also be comforting to know that others have had similar experiences and can relate to what you're going through. If you do decide to share your dreams with others, it's important to approach the conversation with an open mind and a willingness to listen. Try to be clear about what the dream meant to you and why it was significant. Ask the other person for their thoughts and feelings, but also be prepared to accept that they may not fully understand or connect with your dream in the way that you do.

Now that we’ve gotten to talking about our own dreams, I also want to talk about how some live out other people’s dreams. Oftentimes, people can plant a seed in you and give you suggestions on what you should do. That can be dangerous because that dream was never yours but now you’ve adopted what someone has told you. Living someone else's dream can be dangerous and have negative consequences on your mental health, personal fulfillment, and overall happiness. So be sure that when you have these dreams make sure it is something that you truly desire.

In the end, your dreams are a reflection of your inner world, and no one else can fully understand them in the same way that you do. Embrace the uniqueness of your dreams and trust that they are revealing important truths about who you are and what you need. It's crucial to live your own dreams and follow your heart. While it's natural to seek advice and guidance from others, it's essential to ensure that you're living your own life and pursuing your own dreams. Your life is precious, and it's essential to make the most of it by living in alignment with your values and desires.

Until Next Time,

E. Ibadin
