Reminders are Necessary

Hi readers, welcome back to another post that you can one day look back on. This post isn't going to be super educational with steps but rather a reminder that you still got this. With the year flying by rather quickly, it can be easy to be discouraged because maybe you are not where exactly where you thought you would be. I want to let you know that you're not alone in that feeling. There are many people who set goals this year and haven't achieved them yet. But just because you haven't achieved that goal yet does not mean it is not going to happen. I want to remind you that delays are not denials.
I want you to take a look back and remind yourself of all the great goals you once accomplished. You've been able to accomplish so much in your lifetime and you think it's normal or insignificant because you did it. Remember most of you reading this are in a position that you once wanted to be in a couple years ago. It's so crazy how we often forget the good things we have going for us because of we see something we don't have. This is what makes comparison dangerous, it's dangerous because it puts you in a state of always wanting what the next man has. Remember the grass isn't always greener on the other side and it will always be greener when it's fake. But your own grass could get greener if you learn to water it.
So use this post as a reminder of WHO you are. You are a unique individual capable of many great things. It will take time and it probably won't be easy but stay the course. Remember, Rome was not built in a day and neither will your goals be. Take time to be patient with yourself and the process it takes to reach those goals. However, be impatient when it comes to taking the steps necessary to get there because nothing will get done without any action. Remember everything that you've been able to do so far and use it as encouragement to get to where you want to go. Hope you enjoyed this chill training session.
Until Next Time,
E. Ibadin
